2022 KPYC Summer Social Calendar
Looking forward to seeing everyone around the club this spring and summer! Can’t wait to get out on the water. See below for our calendar of planned events (might come up with a few more too) and as always, looking for volunteers to help be creative and support. I need help!
+ May 4th (Wednesday) – 6pm – Social Committee volunteers – Come join me (Chris Olsen) for planning of social events. He’s cooking food and providing beverages. Many hands make short work for these events so we can ALL enjoy them. Looking forward to your ideas to make these events meaningful and fun for the club too!
+ May 5th (Thursday) – 5pm-??? – Cinqo de Mayo Pub Night – pot luck and open to all members and guests!
+ May 6th (Friday) – CPR Class no Pub Night
+ May 7th (Saturday) – 4pm-??? – Kentucky Derby Party – Kentucky Derby club party. Let’s make this potluck as well and anybody know good mint julep bourbon recipes? I’ll make my bourbon/maple mint juleps. I’ll also plan on grilling something interesting along the lines of a Kentucky Derby menu but I don’t want to be the only one! We have two new grills to break in. We’ll run a 50/50 raffle and have some fun!!! Open to all members and guests.
+ May 13th (Friday) – 5pm – Pub Night – open to all members and guests. Bring food to share, bring libations to share or just show up and enjoy the social time. We unwind from the week and hopefully get some cornhole games going or just watch the sunset. Open to ALL members and guests.

+ May 22nd (Sunday) – 11am-3pm – New Member and summer members kick off brunch. For all new members and existing members. Let’s kick off the boating season with brunch and fun.
+ May 27th (Friday) – 5pm – Pub Night – open to all members and guests. Bring food to share, bring libations to share or just show up and enjoy the social time. We unwind from the week and hopefully get some cornhole games going or just watch the sunset. Open to ALL members and guests.
+ June 3rd (Friday) – 5pm – Pub Night – open to all members and guests. Bring food to share, bring libations to share or just show up and enjoy the social time. We unwind from the week and hopefully get some cornhole games going or just watch the sunset. Open to ALL members and guests.
+ June 4th (Saturday) – 5pm – Cookout and LIVE Rock N Roll night! – We’ll be grilling American classics for attending club members and guests. Live music by Scott Brown and the Diplomats covering rock n roll songs from the 60s to the 80s. I’ve personally attended their show and they are amazing!!! This event will require a small cover charge that will include dinner and simple libations for members and guests. Social club will be running raffles during the event as well so come prepared to participate! Stand by for evite details.

+ July 1st (Friday) – 6pm – Club BBQ – stay tuned for details on the pig roast and more
+ July 16th (Saturday) – F/V Sugarbush Fish Fry and Tuna social details to follow as we get closer to the date.
+ August 13th (Saturday) – Annual KPYC Lobster Bake social details to follow as we get closer to the date.
This is what we have so far! Keep in mind all the sailing race/regatta events on the calendar are also open to members and guests. Let’s have a great spring and summer together!
